22nd April 2005 Surfing: Rutland Wind Direction: ESE Wind Stength: f 3-4 Surf / Sea State: Small chop Air Temperature: 15 Sea Temperature: Cold Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: Planing most of time on 8.2m and 115L, but tended to drift off downwind - not quite fully powered most of time. Good gybing practice as things happen slower with the big kit. Experimented with pulling down on the boom and vision etc but still not quite planing out. Hard work heaving big kit around particularly as I had not used it since October. A nice afternoon session in the sunshine though. |
